Who we are

This website is run by Awesome Dog Ltd (company number 05953008), trading as Awesome Dog Studio, Awesome Dog Mocap and Abranimations®. Questions about privacy: contact@awesomedog.com.

This website

There are no accounts, forms, newsletters or advertising here, and the site sets no cookies for visitors. (The only cookie is for our own private sign-in area, which visitors never use.) Like any website, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Counting visits

We count visits ourselves, without cookies and without any outside analytics company. When a page opens, it sends us a small note: which page it is, the name of the website that linked to it (such as google.com, never the full address), and whether the screen is phone, tablet or computer sized. We also count clicks through to Fab, and plays of videos, move previews and the trailer.

To tell visits apart for a single day, we mix your IP address and browser details with a random value that we replace every night, and keep only the scrambled result. It can't be turned back into your address and can't link one day's visit to the next. Nothing is stored on your device. After each day, its notes are turned into plain totals and deleted. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, nothing is counted at all.

Videos

Pack videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video plays through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode; from then on YouTube may store cookies or similar data on your device, and Google's privacy policy applies to the player.

Buying

Purchases happen on Fab, not on this site, so Fab's privacy policy covers your account, payment and downloads.

Contacting us

If you send us a message with the form on our Contact page, it's emailed to us and a copy is kept in our private admin area on the server that runs this website. It holds only what you typed (your name, email address, what it's about and your message) and when you sent it. To stop the form being flooded, the server also keeps a scrambled code made from your internet address for one day; it can't be turned back into the address.

Whether you use the form or email contact@awesomedog.com, we use your message only to reply to you, and never add you to a mailing list. The form's copy is deleted automatically after a year, and emails are kept only as long as we need them. Ask us any time if you'd like yours deleted sooner.
